Parent Involvement and Committees

The success of the MOTCC is dependant on the parent's involvement, primarily through support committees.  All parents are required to participate on a committee, as well as to serve as a Parent on Duty for at least two rehearsals.  Committees include and are chaired by:

The Fundraising Committee will plan and coordinate the MOTCC Annual Fundraising Event/Auction and Concert held in December of each year.

The Fundraising Committee will administrate the annual giving drive held in the first quarter of each calendar year by mass mailing and phone canvassing for donations from corporate and private donors. This committee will also plan and coordinate other events as determined by the MOTCC Director.
Uniforms/Spirit Wear

Hospitality

Members of the hospitality committee organize refreshments for applicable MOTCC events.  This may include gathering donations, baking refreshments, or providing and collecting monetary donations.  This committee is also instrumental in setting up and monitoring food at the MOTCC Annual Fundraising Event/Auction and Concert held in December of each year.  This committee will also assist out of town guest artists, conductors, etc. who are guests of MOTCC with transportation to and from rehearsals, publicity appearances, and their hotel.
